In order to improve work efficiency, reduce production costs, and improve product quality, Deming has been continuously promoting multiple lean improvement achievements on the path of lean improvement since 2022, and has achieved good results. On the evening of July 20th, the meeting for the release of lean improvement results in the second quarter of 2023 was successfully held in the training room of Building G.

A total of 10 departments participated in the lean improvement results presentation meeting. Each department used the 5W2H analysis method to identify the true root cause of the problems that occurred during the production process, and optimized and improved more than 20 operational standards for the problem points.

▲ Lean Management Benchmarking Unit - PMC Department

▲ First place in lean improvement - CNC machining center

▲ Second place in lean improvement - metalworking workshop

▲ Lean Improvement Third Place - Welding Workshop

At the meeting, the PMC department, as a benchmark unit for lean management, was the first to share the results on stage. Subsequently, representatives from various departments showcased the results of internal lean improvement in terms of cost, efficiency, quality, and other aspects, and proposed improvement directions for the next quarter. During the Q&A session, the on-site judges sharply asked questions and pointed directly at the core. After intense competition, the first, second, and third prizes for the publication of lean improvement achievements in the department were ultimately selected. Executive Vice President Peng Liangdong presented an honorary banner and bonus to the winning department.

Executive Vice President Peng Liangdong fully affirmed the achievements of this lean improvement, pointed out the shortcomings in the work, and provided guidance on the direction of improvement in the third quarter. Mr. Peng proposed that department managers should use lean improvement as a means of business management, carefully explore and continuously promote the smooth progress of lean improvement work, and achieve greater gains.
